Up close and personal, lots of fans of the LSX Willys got to ask the owner plenty of questions about this wicked ride. If you haven't seen the wheelie video of this truck going up on the bumper recently, it's worth a peak. What's the LSX Willy's you ask? Well its this supercharged, and nitrous fed rocket ship driven by a gutsy fellow named Justin. (Click HERE for more killer shots from Kyle Cross Photography of this event) One of the crowd favorites at the burnout pit was the LSX Willys, with this ProCharger supercharged LS engine. Here is just a small section of one of the parking lots. But we didn't have any idea that there would be 900+ cars on the property! From the action on the dyno, vendors booths, the burnout pit, and the DJ spinning tracks late into the night, this group of parking lots became the meca of horsepower. Starting with the Friday night action, we knew the dyno event and car show would be out of control when we decided to head to STL. Okay, now let's dive into the supercharged action that was on the property in STL. Hosted at Midwest Streetcars June 12th-14th (yes, the Street Outlaw guys). If you missed this event, don't worry the next event is just a week away in Oklahoma City. Which is exactly what we did at Gateway this past holiday weekend, to check out the SCT event. Making it out to racing events and being part of the action is a way we can enjoy both of these things we love so much. Ok let's back up, maybe we love two things, BOOST and RACING. Here at ProCharger if it's one thing we love, its racing. The series we are talking about goes by the name of the " Street Car Takeover" and their motto is best summed up by a shirt sold by. You may have heard about it on, on Facebook, or possibly one of the internet forums you post on. This blog will cover a racing event that has really sparked our interest. ProCharger Displays at Street Car Takeover event in St Louis, and will be displaying at upcoming Street Car Takeover events in Oklahoma City and Kansas City.

The graphics are phenomenal for its time which is par for the course for any Call of Duty game, and the plot is engaging despite being convoluted at times. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a solid entry into the franchise, successfully maintaining traditional gameplay while also upgrading and modernizing certain mechanics. When it comes to first person shooters, the Call of Duty franchise is the first on any body's mind, and for good reason. Although it has a level 55 cap, Modern Warfare comes with a Prestige mode where players can reset their levels, but gain additional perks and upgrades. Killing enemies in multiplayer mode will earn players experience points to increase their level. Typically, victory is achieved by being the first to accomplish a certain objective, but it can also be achieved by being the last man standing. There are different multiplayer modes in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, each varying victory conditions and objectives. Once the main campaign has been completed, a bonus epilogue mission can be unlocked. That said, playing though it is uncomplicated since each act is broken down to specific missions and objectives. The story itself can be a bit convoluted at times, as you're following complex political machinations through out the narrative. Players get several levels where they get to play in flashbacks as Captain John Price and as USMC 1st Force Recon Sergeant Paul Jackson. The story primarily follows new British SAS recruit John "Soap" MacTavish as he gets embroiled in a conflict in the Middle East involving a Russian Civil War. In Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, you follow a non-linear story where you can play as different characters at certain points in the campaign. That said, as a whole, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare features familiar gameplay mechanics, especially for first-person shooter afficianoados. Successfully killing consecutive enemies without dying will trigger killstreak perks which can be used to call for aid or issue powerful attacks. There is also a new multiplayer feature known as Killstreak. Obviously, modern weapons and clothing designs go without question. However, there are also new features that come with Modern Warfare. Using cover and crouching are essential to get through levels unscathed. Players would have to balance a combination of speed and stealth to get through levels. Gameplayįans of the earlier Call of Duty games will have no problems following this game as the mechanics are very similar. As a critical and commercial success, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare comes with both a rich single-player campaign as well as an amazing multiplayer experience. In this entry to the massively popular series, Call of Duty fans are taken from the grim history of WWII and dropped in the middle of the uneasy political climate of modern times. There's no denying that the Call of Duty franchise is ranked amongst the top of first-person shooter games. You feel like you’re gaining things fast but for whatever reason, money seems to be the hardest thing to come by. Also, there’s a local co-op mode which is always a nice touch in my book.Įverything you do in Dragon Ball Heroes nets you currency, experience points, items, and gacha tickets. Players who get really invested in the metagame are sure to have a blast going against players from all over online. There’s ranked, casual, and private matches for friends. I’m assuming this is due in part to the turn-based nature of the game. Even when going up against players from around the world, lag was never really an issue. Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission’s online mode is actually quite great. Furthermore, there are sometimes passive abilities that appear way to quickly, like so fast you can’t even read them if you tried. As I previously mentioned, one of the things that can get a bit monotonous are those special abilities that interrupt the action, throwing you into mindless minigames that have you twiddling the sticks every single time. It’s nice, especially on the Switch, as it gives Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission that jump in, jump out feeling that’s great for on the go titles. or having more HP at the end of a battle. Matches only last for five turns, and the victor is determined by K.O. I mentioned that this game still has the speed that Dragon Ball battles are known for. It’s not super engaging and can sometimes be really drawn out for only some small benefits. Oftentimes, these special abilities require players to do some sort of input with the analog sticks in place of the actual physical cards on the arcade machines. For instance, a particular Bardock card I have can freeze my opponent during their attack during a specific turn, then Bardock is allowed to do a counter attack. I like to think I’m good at timing button presses so I didn’t have much trouble even on the harder difficulties, but if this is something you don’t think you’re good at you may find it harder than I did.Ĭharacters also can gather enough energy over time to do their iconic super attacks and certain heroes also have special abilities that can change the course of battle. Whoever has the better press will either do more damage or block more damage. In battles, attacks are based around a quick minigame that has you timing a button press against your opponent. Each character is set to a certain color so it’s important to make sure you’re thinking about who to attack with and when.īlow too many of your characters’ stamina early on and they’ll be vulnerable to attack, but attacking with all of them together may help to end a battle early. Unfortunately, the game’s tutorials really don’t do any of the more complex systems justice, but if you’re not here for the metagame it’s not something I personally feel you have to worry about.Īs far as difficulty goes, I didn’t have much trouble with any AI encounter. Placing characters in the back row has them regain stamina and stay out of fights. The closer you put them to your opponent, the more stamina they’ll use to attack and ultimately do more damage. You place your team of up to seven characters wherever you see fit. Even with the gacha nature of the game, I found the rewards for simply playing to be fair.īattles play out on a horizontal grid with four rows. While the physical gratification of collecting isn’t there, not much is lost due to the amount of content you can acquire. Better yet, every card is accompanied by unique abilities and character models. However, as the game has had nine years to grow and evolve, there are over 1,000 cards for you to collect. There’s a collecting aspect that obviously can’t be replicated on the Switch or PC. In the arcade version, players could use real cards on a set board to battle it out with other players. While the game does suffer in some aspects due to the transition from arcade machine to Nintendo Switch and PC, it still has its charming and fun moments.Ī short history lesson: Dragon Ball Heroes launched on Japanese arcades all the way back in 2010. Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is a bit of an anomaly compared to other Dragon Ball games on the market right now like Xenoverse 2 and FighterZ.Whereas those games are hands-on fighters, World Mission is a turn-based card game that still maintains the speed longtime fans of Dragon Ball expect from the series. Note: If as a cost cutting measure all of the internal banknotes were replaced with $1 bills, it would still be $83,060 in cash. The loss of roughly $1000/week in interest is reasonably paid back in customer interest in the display. Each year, 100 million people are forced into extreme poverty due to. So the whole display with acrylic container is over 200 pounds (174 pounds in banknotes), making it difficult to run away with, but still easily handled to put it into storage. The very top of the economic pyramid sees trillions of dollars of wealth in the. $42,000 in $1 banknotes weighing 92 pounds If you are travelling to Las Vegas, Nevada, it is highly recommended that you check out the million dollar stack of cash. $688,000 in $20 banknotes weighing 76 pounds The Million at Binion’s consists of different bills ranging from one to one hundred dollars all stacked up in a pyramid. $270,000 in $100 banknotes weighing 6 pounds Jay Parrino, who bought the display would only say that he paid less than $10 million. So the original display was worth far more than $1 million. There is a $10,000 banknotes on sale now for $89,000 (no takers), but they are worth several times their face value. People regularly sell $1000 bills for $2000 or more on e-bay. Given the utility of the money that drove the owners to take down the original Million, I am suspicious that the display really contains $1 million in USD. Recycle is still bought by many who don’t necessarily use Reason, but other DAWs, so this is also why there isn’t a consolidation as there was with Reason and Record into one system. Much like ReGroove and more so like the sequencer, Recycle could still open up in a sizable panel in the main screen by clicking on a Recycle icon, and then chosen to be seen on a larger scale as a full screen if desired, without having to stretch, and with further options to zoom. As a standalone it would retain the original functionality, while as an integration of Reason, it would simply open up in separate panel much in the same way that the rack, mixer, and sequencer separate. I think Propellerhead should have simply made two versions of Recycle, one that integrates into Reason and one that can still open independently similar to how Celemony Melodyne works. Still, a company like Imageline with FLStudio and SliceX (different but comparable to Recycle) was able to put the two concepts of a DAW and a slicing plugin together. Recycle was made way before Reason, and, unlike Rebirth, Propellerhead most likely couldn’t find a way to link the physical aspects of the two without changing the original presentation of Recycle. One of the major reasons why Recycle as an application was not integrated into Reason was its GUI and the way the screen stretched in size to see sound waves distinctly as well as configurations. Reason is a great product covered in shit. I paid for the f*cking software, I should be able to use it without it constantly nagging me for a f*cking key. Now I use software from respectful developers like Ableton, who still use copy protection but don’t make me carry around another piece of hardware and plug it in every time I want to use it. I know it inside out and used to love it.
